Start Smart Luncheon 2026

A informational video about “What is a Children’s museum?”

Trendy Reel based off of the Trader Joes that Pretend City has.

A trendy reel capturing the variety of the amount of items that families leave behind.

Instagram Reels Produced

I had the opportunity to create several reels that were posted on Pretend City’s Instagram and TikTok. I was able to expand my creativity skills and use them for a non-profit organization. The result at the end was being able to create a difference of reels to capture different audiences. I learned that at times, the vision will not be clear until it is fully developed.

Pretend City’s 9th Annual Start Smart Luncheon

I was given the opportunity not only to record the luncheon but also to attend it. Networking skills were helpful throughout the event because I was able to interact with a multitude of donors and members, and then also be able to create content with them. Nearing the end of the event, I realized that the results paid off when we raised a record-breaking of $225,000. I learned how to step over my comfort zone, and to realize that being able to know everything is impossible, but to be able to learn is possible.

The Good To Go Fair Photos

I was tasked with attending “The Good To Go” fair and creating content through photography. A skill I ended up learning was always making an opportunity to put myself out there, and during the fair, I was able to interact with families to give a chance to show the impact of the fair itself. The result of the fair was the feeling of being ready to ask someone in the spur of the moment for a photo, or even interacting with family dynamics. I learned that getting a “no” does not mean that a “yes” is not coming.
